6.1.2009 - Supercharged LT5
After 18 months of engineering and fabrication, project "SCLT5" is complete. Since its debut at the 2008 Gathering, we have enhanced the combination to include an air-to-air intercooler, cold air induction, rising rate fuel management unit, high flow blow-off valve, data logging system, low restriction exhaust, and much more. Dyno and track results will be published soon.

HD Kevlar & Ceramic Clutch Disks
HD Kevlar/Ceramic (street) and Ceramic/Ceramic (strip) clutch disks are designed specifically for high HP LT5 applications. These units feature an elongated solid hub for greater spline contact and incorporate a sandwiched marcel drive plate (spring) to "cushion" the controlled lock-up design of the OEM hydraulic system, resulting in improved shifts. Specially formulated ceramic material contains graphite to prevent engagement chatter. Our testing has included over fifty, 600+ HP, 10 second, drag slick passes and years of street driving.

Digital LED Shift Light Kit
This Speedhut Revolution SST Shift Light kit is upgraded with ZR-1 specific enhancements. Kit includes an OEM pre-wired Delphi connecter for a "non-splice" tach wire connection via the electronic ignition diagnostic port, and a pre-wired 12V LED fused auto power plug. Light can be easily installed without any tampering with the factory wiring harness. Features include; billet aluminum housing, integral two button controls, digital display/recall, five brightness settings, and shift points adjustable in 10rpm increments. Black anodized housing is available in three LED colors; red, yellow, or blue. Please allow 2 weeks for shipment.

HD165 Thermostat
Heavy duty 165°F thermostat is designed to target an optimal engine operating temperature of approximately 180°F. Improvements include an insulated heat motor, solid wall valve guide, and machined bypass valve and spring seat, for improved durability and thermal efficiency.

Aluminum Underdrive Pulley Set
Billet aluminum underdrive water pump and alternator pulley are half the weight of OEM and slows the respective accessories 10%, resulting in a reduction in rotating mass and peristaltic drag. Proper electrical charge is maintained at idle. Durable black anodized finish. Includes belt.

Fuel Pressure Gauge & Filter Kit
Kit enables the installation of a fuel pressure gauge within the engine compartment, while maintaining an OEM appearance. Designed not to interfere with the factory fuel rail, the gauge connects directly to the suppled filter via a high temperature stainless steel braided line.

Aluminum Fuel Filter
Billet aluminum high flow fuel filter assembly.
Rated at 60 gpm, the 1 micron replaceable synthetic element and stainless screening provides 20% more filtration than the OEM style filter, without restricting fuel flow. Durable red anodized finish. Supplied with insulated mounting strap and additional element.
Plenum Insulator Kit
Low profile (1/8" thick) phenolic insulator plates assist in plenum temperature reduction, while minimizing the chance of hood interference. Plates incorporate a bypass port for proper coolant system venting. Kit includes: plates, throttle body coolant bypass line, line plugs, and fasteners.

Adjustable Trailing Arm Brackets
Brackets are designed for both strip and street applications. LT5X Head Studs
Manufactured from ARP 2000 grade (rod bolt) material, these studs are designed to bottom on existing block bolt threads resulting in increased engagement and reduced thread stress. At 120 ft/lbs of torque (using 30w oil) these studs result in up to 35% greater clamping force and do not require re-torque. Each kit contains 20 studs, hardened washers, and 12 point nuts.

LT5X Cylinder Liners
Liners are designed with extra material and capable of being machined to a 4.030" bore. Several features have been incorporated to "tighten" the liner in the block for additional support. Block must be bored to accept these liners.
